Install Clio Prime

Install Your Clio Prime / Pedo

Step 1 Make sure all contents are in your box

  • Sensor case which includes: sensor, sensor holder, and USB extension cable 
  • 50 pc Clio sheaths (barriers) 
  • Positioner (ring, rod, biteblocks)

Step 2 Install product

 We highly recommend you have secure internet connection before installation.  

SOTA Image / SOTA Cloud Users

    1. Install or update SOTA Image to version 3.0 or later.  
    2. Carefully plug the USB end of the sensor cable into the USB port.
    3. Repeat on each workstation.

Non-SOTA Image / SOTA Cloud Users

    If you’re currently using Eaglesoft / Patterson Imaging, VinWin Platinum 3.5 & higher, or Dexis 9:
      1. Make sure the computer to which you are connecting the sensor has compatible imaging software installed.  
      2. Download Clio Connect.
      3. Run the Clio Connect installer and follow the on-screen instructions.  
      4. If you’re using Eaglesoft / Patterson Imaging, VinWin Platinum 3.5 & higher, or Dexis 9, follow the instructions here for the imaging software you use. 
      5. Carefully plug the USB end of the sensor cable into the USB port of your computer.  
      6. Repeat steps 1-6 on each workstation. 
          If you’re currently using another imaging software not listed above:
            1. Make sure the computer to which you are connecting the sensor has compatible imaging software installed.  
            2. Download Clio Connect.
            3. Run the Clio Connect installer and follow the on-screen instructions. 
            4. Call implementation support at 714.532.6100, option 3 for help on your specific imaging software configurations. Take note of these settings to apply to each of your workstations.  
            5. Carefully plug the USB end of the sensor cable into the USB port of your computer.  
            6. Repeat steps 1-6 on each workstation.

                  Downloads

                  To check your model number, find the serial number on your Clio intraoral digital x-ray sensor (located on white label 2 inches from USB connector). The number will consist of six digits.
